People are the most valuable asset of our firm and the guarantee of our success. Therefore, we pay special attention to selection, development and motivation of our personnel. Our main principle of work with staff consists in bringing up new talents. We start our work with many attorneys since the time they are studying at universities.

Those students, who strive to work at ILF, take part in the competition, the winners of which are given an opportunity to pass two-months internship at the firm. Our interns receive a fascinating opportunity to get a practical experience and listen to the seminars from the leading specialists of our firm. According to the results of the internship, the best interns will get a job-offer to become a part-time assistant of attorney.

Further career growth depends exceptionally on the personal and professional qualities of the lawyer and his or her ambition. We have developed the map of competences, which shows what exact qualities should the ILF’s attorney possess in order to get a promotion. Every ILF’s attorney is given an opportunity to become a partner of the firm in the future.

Much attention is also paid to the development of our staff. We regularly hold various internal seminars for our attorneys and provide them with the monthly subscription to law newspapers and journals. The young ILF’s specialists are also engaged into the Summer School project. Within the framework if the project, the consulting centre “Perspective” and the foreign ILF’s consultant Christopher Kelly, Professor of the Arkansas University, hold the trainings on career planning, Leadership, Time-management, Legal Writing, Negotiation skills and many others. The language of the Summer School is English.

Besides, our firm collaborates with the foreign educational establishments and law firms in America and Germany. We are involved into School of American Law project, which gives an opportunity for our attorneys to study law with the leading professors of the USA, Poland and Ukraine and to get the international LLM degree. Also, our senior attorneys pass the internships in foreign law firms for the mutually beneficial experience exchange, personal and professional development.
